Positivity, Resilience, and Following Your Dreams

Have you been feeling fearful of something and do not know how to cope with it? You know, when of the best things to do about your fear is learn about it.

How do you feel when you become fearful? Anxious? Irritable? How about snappy? What happens physically? Does your heart race? Do you get sweaty? I encourage everyone that if they know they are often fearful of something to begin to understand their emotions.

For example are you currently doing something new in your life? Like chasing after your dreams? It is probably going to be the most uncomfortable feeling in the world. Why? Because you are doing something you have never done before. You are doing something new physically, emotionally, and spiritually. It is important to realize that this fear is not a sign to flee from the situation, but to know that it is normal.

Ever ran a mile for the first time? You probably wanted to puke. One of the most important things in going after your dreams and your TRUE desires is to have resiliency. You will have a lot of people in your life trying to bring you down. Like saying you can't do it or making funny jokes. Listen to those in your life whom are encouraging and believe in you. Also, adopt an idol. Who inspires you?

Following your dreams is challenging. You will face rejection, failure, and negative feelings during the process. However, it does not mean give up, it means keep going until you reach them.

Something that has made me really figure out what I want in my life is my own mortality. The very fact that I will die one day makes me want to bigger and better things in this world.

Don't let your fears choose your life for you, confront your fears and take control of them, you deserve it.
